Turbo Regal limited myths and facts.

Love my Limited, ultimate Gentleman's ass kickin machine. I am the 3rd owner and it has just under 40,000 miles, original paint etc. The second owner put leather in and I got tired of my azz sliding around so I put the original velour back in:D I will post some current interior pics later.

Looking forward to those interior pics. I'm one of the few who prefer the velour over the pleather. I only wish the material was more durable. Can't beat the comfort though. It is by far the most comfortable TB ride.

The second owner took the velour out to keep it mint and put the leather in because it was more durable . There were no suppliers for the velour to replace it back then. There are now suppliers to replace it, if it wears so I put it back in. I just like it all original. I also think the velour split bench with fold down arm rest says old mans car and well I am.

My Limited is on the way to a major performance upgrade as one of my goals is to put a hurting on a couple Hellcats 2 owned by long-time turbo Buick gurus in Southern California who have strayed from the sheep herd, and are now sporting new Hellcats.

Maybe their wives have given a larger allowance for a new car so they will not spend so much time in the garage "messing" with a turbo Buick?

I have been tempted by new GTO's, Mustangs and Hemi's, but whatever they can do on the street, I think I can do as well or better with my Limited, will see if they are up to the challenge? ;)

Hard to tell in the picture, but the rear tires are just as wide as the Hellcat!

Don't forget the sage green limited!!!

Killer cars guys :) I had 3 87 turbo regal limiteds at the same time
Sold the silver on grey
Sold the white on grey both cloth

Now have a blue on blue sunroof car with corner lamps twilight sentinel

Wished it was a crank window limited, rare as hens teeth!

I believe there are 3 different shades for the rosewoods.

3 color codes.

That is the darkest shade.

The next TR I ever buy will be a limited.

D

Thanks , they made several colors of Rosewood and mine is the darker one , the paint code says it is , garnet is more burgundy color , like I say I have not run across another one just like this one

I had one of those two tone Blue limiteds like Nicks. Bought it out of Mass. and when I sold it went back there.

I've got one of the 55 86 tan leathered TTypes. Not a limited since not offered in 86. Has black out package, tan leather, 3/4 console and column shift. What an oddball. I'll post up pics soon

There is nothing in any dealer brochure that suggests that there was 3 different shades of rosewood. Only the burgundy (I forget what Buick called it) and Rosewood pictured above.
I wish I had a dollar for every time someone asked me which of the three shades of rosewood my car is.
