What kind of bumper fillers are most people buying now.........

UPDATE: Just installed the Danko's and WOW....They fit PERFECT!!! very easy installation and they lined up perfect. Just drill your holes out a little bigger to give you some room to move them and they fit right into place. For $183 including shipping I don't see how these could be beat!

Mike is the shit. I cant say enough about him other than he has taken over as chief of humor from me on T6P.....and he's not that funny.

judging by character alone, I would save up the duckets and NEVER look back.

One day he may parachute down to my bar and we will have drinks.

SpoolFool fillers gets my vote.

I'm partial to spoolfools. For a few dollars more there was absolutely no fit issues and the painter said they were the best he ever worked with. I couldn't be happier.

for a FEW dollars more.....4 times as much haha I'm sure his are VERY nice, but for those of us on a budget the Danko's will do just fine

Cliff's notes on this thread would be that Danko's
fillers wouldn't make a pimple on Spoolfool2
bumper filler arse. I would rather die than
mount anything of Danko's on my Buick.
Nuff said. And yes, that's my '87 turbo Buick
that you see in most of Spoolfool2's photos.
And yes, I had Danko front fillers on my car
up until Mike had his out in production.

like I said, Im sure spoolfools are very nice fillers, but my experience with Danko fillers is very positive and I think others should know this. If you have the extra money to spend on fillers then go for it but if not, just get some Danko's and they will look fine. by the way, When I called to order mine I asked about a return policy because I was concerned about them fitting nicely and they said if I wasn't 100% satisfied to send them back. I don't know if they would stand behind that or not because I didn't need to return mine but it certainly made me feel more confident about ordering them!

haha I know. I just don't see paying 4 times as much for a bumper filler that doesn't have a 1/4'' gap in the middle and they couldn't fit any better, because mine fit perfect. but to each his own. I'm just glad I saved that money!

I like Clint Eastwood movies to.

The outlaw Josey Wales is my favorite Clint western, I'll let you watch it for a few dollars more.

I'm glad you're not overly opinionated, but please sir tell us how you really feel!

Different strokes for different budgets, he's happy with his purchase [sams86gn] you're obviously happy with your purchase/gift and if Sam was swinging from Dave's [insert reference here] and got his for free like you probably did [promotional purposes] he'd be in love with spoolfool to.

If you payed full price I will retract that last statement, but I put it there to show you how you come off attacking someone just because they're happy with their purchase and you disagree with them.

Lighten up on the kid he does not have deep pockets like some on the board, or belong to the good ole boy club of certain members here.

I just last week installed the spoolfool fillers front and rear. I paid full price and shipping fom SoCal to Buffalo. I highly recommend this product. They fit perfect right out of the box. I did not have to paint them either. The gelcoat matches almost perfect on my original paint, 74k, award winning show car! I did my homework and could have gotten cheaper bumper fillers but how much would I really have saved after paying the body shop? I don't know Mike other than to talk when placing my order. I did have a small issue that I contacted Mike about last night (Saturday) at about 9pm. He responded within a few minutes and before I fully explained the problem he offered to give me my money back or a replacement. I informed him that that was not what I was looking for. Bottom line is Mike's customer service was amazing to say the least and he makes products to match!

If your car does not need painting, only fillers, then I'm sure you would be better off with the spoolfools. In my case, the car is in the body shop and getting completely repainted. Its not gonna cost me anymore to paint the fillers with the car and they will match the paint 100%...

Then it's settled!
By non-unanimous indecision of all three referees - it is a ...a draw.
Interestingly, it came down to a battle between Danko v. SpoolFool.
Brian's Urethane came in a distant third as I tally the fight card.
So we have a grand total of three types to chose from.
Super.

I demand a re-count

Thanks for all the info!
Spoolfool, Danko, abs, Ebay....?
Decisions, decisions........

I can say one thing about that - skip EvilBay when you have 2 reputable vendors here selling them.
Why do EvilBay if you don't need to?
