KeyBoard Racers

I brought up 16lbs, because to me thats a lot without race gas and forged bottom end.

The rules for true street are stock bottom end, stock heads, full interior, + nitrous allowed as a single power adder. GN turbo would count as a single power adder.

No handicap- its just rules. not making up terms or whatever.

Just saying that a Black LS1 from Alabama is going to win the true street class on the 20th.

Please remove head from a$$. Thank you.

Boy I have learned something today...

So your telling me, that a stock bottom end, stock head GN with bolt ons and suspension will run in the 12's in the 1/4?

Guess we will have to see.

lol

I remember the local ls1 nut hangers around here acting superior until they seen Roy & Laz, Richiehighpsi, Cruz, and V6Racer show up to their events pulling 8's & 9's in heavy cars with little 6 bangers. They were pmming me saying wtf and making excuses why they got beat down

Been 10.65 here with an unopened motor. Like I said before, stick with your LS1. These cars require more brain activity than your dome can handle.

Go ask your neighbor, his neighbor, the guy around the corner, your best friends sister and all the rest of the people cruising LS1's for some pointers before you look silly and try to run against a lil 6er.

The only changes I've made to the factory long block in mine is valve springs. The suspension is bone stock. I've run as quick as 12.33 @ 109, and with some tuning it will be solidly in the 11's....and my car is slow for a GN! It gets 23mpg on the highway with the A/C on, and during the summer I drive it rain or shine.

Cool...

I'll bring a tow rope and tie it to my rear. That way you can feel like your going fast when your drug down the track by a stock LS1 with a 75 shot.

Too bad your up North.. or you could get drug down the track too

Little dome huh? I forgot more about turbos that you will ever know little fella. And I did it with a little 4cyl VW @ 29 lbs on a precision 76.. Probably bigger than whats on your badddd 6cyl now.

But then I grew up and got a v8.

It makes guys like you go home and sleep for 3 days with severe depression...

If his car fits the rules of the class then get in on it.

I'm just stating the facts playa. Stock suspension, full weight, stock bottom end and heads, +cam, +1 power adder.

I don't car what type of car it is.. low 12's / high 11's should win it.

I usually bring a couple grand with me to play with, so it should be fun.

I remember that as well, funny stuff!

OR if you really want it like that- we will bring the procharger lsx car..

Boost for Boost.

But like I said, the true street rules should make for a good race. If we don't win, I will donate $50 to the board.

lol

Yeah, I knew the owner of that forum locally and he was like wtf bro you talk all these guys to show up with ugly old cars with funny sounding v6's and they are the fastest here!

I have a stock Turbo Regal, stock heads, and running 20 lbs boost without Methanol that runs 11.50's....full interior, A/C, power windows and weighing in at 3280 without me in it...

Looks like you need to do much more researching...

Vehicles must retain a "street appearing" interior. Factory door panels, carpet and dashboard are required. Two front seats required (bench seat OK). NO SEAT DELETES.

STREET LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
All cars are required to have working headlights and tail lights (headlights doors must be fixed open or work manually or automatically on cars so equipped). Brake lights and turn signals are required.

TIRES:
D.O.T approved tires. Limited to 28 inch tall.

-------------------------------------------------------

As Jason said the rules say NOTHING about pump gas, so kiss your 16lbs of boost BS goodbye! It also says stock heads, but doesn't state whether or not they can be ported. Under these rules I know of a GN here in South Florida with a stock bottom end, stock ported iron heads, and a 67 turbo on 28" tires and stock suspension that has been 9.59 @141mph.

I am warning you, your ignorance can be dangerous.
