Hello, just a suggestion you may want to check with Richard Clark in Burlington, NC as he may have a muffler what you are looking for. Hope this helps.

It's been mentioned that the Borla XR1 race mufflers have very similar sound and performance characteristics as the original bit bull mufflers.
I was going to post some photos, but since you're replacing Pypes mufflers, your muffler configuration may be different than the ATR exhaust system.

GN1 Performance has 3 in. replacement pit bull mufflers if they will work for you.

Pit bull was by far the best sounding mufflers ever made for our cars. So that's good to know about the Borla. Which by the way, Borla does make a 4" XR1, but, man are they proud of em??
