wiring question on SM

ive had my Scanmaster for about a year and evreything was working great with it, my buddy had to drive my car for me when i broke ankle, somehow he managed to destroy my wiring for my scanmaster, ive tried rewiring it and as soon as the ground is connected the 2.1 will stay on for a second then shuts off... just to clearify my wiring... red is power...white is ground...and black goes in the top left 2nd terminal, hopefully i just wired it wrong and my scanmaster isnt broken, thanks

Wired it wrong...Black is GROUND..White wire goes to top left second Terminal(E)

Yep, BLACK IS GROUND. Just look at your battery if you forget ever which power source is what, Red is POS, and Black is Neg.
