Wiper Motor troubleshooting..?

Just trying to troubleshoot and diagnose a few issues with the wipermotor and washer pump..

Problems, the washer motor wasnt pumping (replaced with new pump still not working).. Also found out intermittent whipers do not work but slow and fast speeds work.

Question is does this sound like the motor controls in the motor assembly?

Or could it be contacts in the stalk worn out?

I am sure there have been others who have seen the same problem and the associated fix..

The exact same on mine 7-8 years ago & the circuit board inside was fried. Got a new cover & board & never had an issue again. My friend had a bad motor but good board/cover so I just swapped it on.
