Why special treatment

Anybody who puts their ass on the line for complete strangers deserves special treatment. Fire, Police, EMS, Military, etc...

Im really starting to think you were one of the kids who got his ass kicked in high school and is just still really angry about it.

I think you have really showed ur true cowardly colors making such a ridiculous post.

And once again jackass you had made a complete fool out of urself and posted more BS while twisting the facts by saying they were moonlighting so why should they get special treatment?

They were attending a funeral for a Manhattan Beach Police Officer who died of Cancer earlier this month at the age of 36 moron!

They were not moonlighting. they are volunteering their time as all Police Officers do when attending another cops funeral jackass.

And as far as the family members riding in the Lifestar helicopter that is not uncommon. family members often go with the medics especially if they have other medical conditions or medication they may be allergic to.

time is limited and an immediate family member will know this information and can help the medics and doctors treat the victim.

you arent really stupid enough to think Lifestar was dispatched out to the scene so the family members could have a lift to the hospital do u. I really hope you have more common sense then that but I seriously doubt it.

your pathetic attempt to twist the facts to make it look like the chopper was dispatched for them alone is comical. you should really just stop making threads cause ur obviously not very intelligent and here is another thread to demonstrate ur ignorance.

so ur cop bashing thread has now turned into you making a complete jackass out of urself. nice goin schmuck. you should go bury ur head in the sand now cause you have made urself look really stupid.

That about sums it up.

It sure does........thanks, Brett, for putting this clown in proper perspective....you said it way better than I could...and you said it just right.

Some people must be extremely frustrated with their own lives to make posts like this on a "car forum." Its pathetic, the same people over and over. Thank god I am not that miserable and actually like my life. I feel sorry for some of you guys who think the world is out to get them and their way of life.

Obviously, trooper, you're not bright enough to see what's going on, or you don't want to, or you're so arrogant, you don't want to admit you're totally wrong. I'm not miserable at all. I'm just not STUPID. I made a statement, and yet all you have to say about the truth, is that I'm miserable.

I care about America ... an America that's going away, and apparently, you don't. I could make these comments in the political forum so the braindead, brainwashed could continue in their fantasyland here ... and I would, but while anyone on this forum is permitted to do so, I'm not permitted to express my opinions about what's really going on in this country in the political forum. Now, rationalize that! I'm sure you can. You just invoke your political correctness.

I didn't start this thread. Are you saying I can't express my opinion here, either? Sounds like it to me. That's what we Americans call, unamerican, as is banning my individual right to give my opinion in a political forum. As I said before, we live in a police state where the sheeple just follow along.

Now, to the topic at hand. The dupes have no choice but to follow the orders of the Kleptocracy against the people. Perhaps some of the dupes here can rationalize the authoritarian acts shown in this video. I'm sure they can. They can rationalize anything. The dupes will fire on the people when they are given the order.

Well said brett and bruce .....

Protect and serve is a thing of the past. 90% of cops treat you like crap and talk down to you from the moment they talk to you or look at you like you're guilty of something. That is unacceptable! I don't stand for it, EVER!

I followed a drunk driver once for 20 minutes on the highway who was taking up all 3 lanes. The whole time i was on the phone with the MA state police explaining what was happening. then the drunk took an exit to Fall River and i stated it to the trooper on the phone.
he said "hold on"
then i heard "Fall River police how can i help you"
I said "didn't the trooper explain?"
The Fall River cop said "what trooper"

Now my sister lives in Fall River with my 3 year old nephew. What if the drunk crashed into them and killed them! The trooper could care less.

If it doesn't involve guns or drugs 99% of cops don't give a F**K!
So. now when a trooper or a cop dies, I don't give a F**K.

You are all over paid, plain and simple. I have many cop friends and know what they make and know how much they work. It's a joke!

Come on, John, (Red Regal T) don't be that way.....we don't live in a police state....try and reconsider your remarks....they are there to help you.....even me not being a police officer, I'd help you in a mili-second if you were in serious trouble.

You've seem to be an intelligent, reasonable man here on the forum, I don't understand why you feel so negative to our LEO like you do.....

Please reconsider....they are there for YOU. Just like I would be.

This happens all the time in a area that has several different jurisdictions within a close proximity. Beleive it or not where I live the State Police does not have jurisdiction (unless requested) in the incorporated cities and towns that have their on local police. Yes he should have given the local pd the heads up, but since you were behind them you should be the one talking directly to the local pd, becuase if the Troop was relaying information there was more chance for information to be mixed up. I hope the local pd caught him.

Don't give a f##k if officers die?! I hope you're happy with yourself. What an idiotitic, moronic, uneducated, and just plain stupid thing to say. I can't wait till you call the police desperate for assistance and when it's all said and done you reflect on what a horrible thing you said :mad::mad:

I find it interesting that the cops on here almost always resort to name calling. Some can even come up with names more than 4 letters long.

I guess it has to do with equality. They can't arrest or other intimidate regular citizens on here for speaking their minds like they can at work and it frustrates them at having to be on a level playing field.

If you really want to be mad at a cop google David Bisard. He was a Indianapolis metro police officer that was drunk at the wheel of his squad car and went on a call! That is bad right? It gets worse, he is flying threw traffic and hits two stopped motorcycles, killing one person and badly injuring two more. That is pretty bad too right? It gets even worse. Cops looking out for cops! They do not do take the proper steps to get a blood sample by a certified person. The guy is going to get off the hook because his buddies were looking out for him. When a cop is killed a couple months later they cross all the t's and dot all the i's while making the arrest. I could have understood a mistake if they didn't ever have to deal with drunk drivers but that happens every day if not every hour in Indy. It was flat out cops helping cops! I hate to hear about a cop or firefighters death but this deserves the death penalty. I have lost all respect for the IMPD. The DA should be removed from his position as well!

Special treatment is something certain jobs have.

Ie: The President gets air force one. So does his family.. Fair? Since when is life fair? ;)

Just be thankful for what you have and thank the lord for each day of breath you get.

Wow! All I can say is wow.. Im amazed on what some people think of Police. For a minute there i thought I was on a different site.

No link, this was on Los Angeles Channel 4 - 5 o'clock news

2 off duty motorcycle cops providing traffic control for a funeral collided with each other, one was thrown into the windshield of a 3rd vehicle. The officers were rushed to a hospital where one died and the other critical. Relatives of the injured cops were AIRLIFTED to the hospital. The accident was in Hawthorne ~12:45pm.

Now while I feel sorry for the officers and their families, what gives them the special treatment to be airlifted to the hosp. Esp since they were off duty earning extra money.
I'm getting real tired of this double standard.

The grandmother next door had a heart attack and her daughter in law didn't know what to do since the son was at a concert somewhere in Brea, about 25 miles away. I told her to go to the hosp. Loudly, so the 4 sheriff's deputies, just standing around, had to hear me "Someone should contact the Brea PD so they can contact the concert and make a announcement". One of the sheriff's could have keyed their mike and had dispatch call the Brea PD. Not one moved or reacted. So I had to go home, dig out a phone book, find the non emergency number for the Brea PD and call them. They were nice enough to send a officer out and tell the son what happened. No escort or airlift was offered to him. She died, not sure if before or after her son got to the hosp.

I CAN SEE THEM AIRLIFTING THE OFFICERS BUT I DON"T THINK THE RELATIVES WHO KNOWS. LOOK AT THIS HOW DID THIS GUY GET AWAY WITH THIS FOR SO LONG.

being a police officer is not even in the top ten of the most dangerous jobs in the united states. The police unions perpetuate this myth that it's extremely dangerous so that they can extort more money from tax payers.

Here is a link to the top 20 most dangerous jobs. Cops come in at #12. dangerous jobs - galleries - the daily beast

using the logic that people use to justify paying police absurd salaries and "hero" worship, we should be paying twice as much for fish, lumber, roofing, meat, construction, trash pickup, electricity (coal), and so on. No one is forced to be a police officer, if you can't handle the risks then maybe you shouldn't be a cop.

good point

You ever think thats becuase of people like you with a "don't give a ****" attitude?
This aint Mayberry and cops are treated like **** quite often from people like you.

Here's what I want you to do. Next time you see a cop in public, stop and say hello to him and ask him how everything is going. I bet he will chat with you like a "normal" person.
Now, the next cop you see, give him your "don't give a ****" attitude. I bet he won't be so polite... Would you?

And I really doubt you have ANY cop friends. If you do I'm sure they would be happy to know that there "friend" Wouldn't give a **** if they are killed!!
