Which valve cover gaskets?

I replaced the pass side valve cover gasket because it was leaking at the rear.I figured I'd use the rubber ones, but it has already pushed out the rear again:( The car has breathers on both covers to relieve pressure.
Is this common?
Should I use cork?and will it help not push out?

I think the general consensus here is to use the rubber ones. I used the Felpro and RTV sealant together. I have been leak free for about 6 months. You have to be really careful not to over tighten the vc bolts. Search for the proper torque. It seemed like barely a turn from hand tight. It works though. Good luck.

NAPA has some nice ones. They have a metal core surrounded by cork. I put them on my car this last go around and haven't leaked yet, but then again, I only have about 100 miles on it...

I probly over torque'd them.I just installed a new one with black rtv/gasket/black rtv/cover and lightly tightened them.If this doesn't work I'll look into the NAPA metal/cork ones.
