Hello all,

Need some help....engine is out for rebuild and I was cleaning up engine
compartment when I noticed one of the electrical connectors was in very
bad shape. It's kind of rubbery and falling apart.
Need to get a replacement, but can't figure out where it goes.
It's a female with 3 sockets and wires are (pink/black stripe, lt. green?, and yellow?) Faded bad, hard to tell.

Here's a couple pictures.....PLEASE HELP!!!!

That's the remains of the oil pressure switch connector. Happens all the time when you put in an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and sender, leaving that connector hanging. Hits the header and it's all over.

The part was originally made of molded rubber and it's no longer available. You can replace it with a Caspers pigtail, or just cut it off completely and tape the wires into the harness.

Be aware, though, that if the pink/black wire OR the gray wire touches metal, you'll kill the engine and blow the fuel pump fuse. And when they burn thru, they'll touch metal.

Thanks John,

Got a part number.....................

I'll be going on your site and getting one today...

Didn't remember disconnecting it.....
