what is the size and diameter of a stock muffler

i want to replace the stock muffler with something else. i need the measurements to find what i need....can someone tell me some good stock location replacements mufflers! thanks a million

i believe its 2 1/4.

I had the flowmaster kit, it wasn't bad, and i got it dirt cheap. it doesn't flow very well but does sound good. I would just do 2 1/2 or 3 inch after the cat/test pipe and put 2 magnaflows or something free flowing in. no sence in going crazy with the exhaust.

do a test pipe with a dump, its the best bang for the buck in my oppinion.

i have a dump on it now...i just want to replace the muffler with something in its stock location ,need something free flowing ,so i think im going to look at some magnaflows.
