Vdo gauge and vss sensor

I am installing a analog VDO gauge, but because the car didn't have a working speedo gauge at the time I purchased it. I need to know everything I need to get the speedo working and sending a signal to the computer. I can really use a diagram and a list of the needed parts to make this thing work. I have a 2004r transmission. Does anyone have the answers to this question?

This is set up for an electronic speedometer, but if you're using an analog gauge, select the "Feed-Thru" sender to route the speedometer cable to the transmission.

Thanks for your help.... I need this thing working so I can tune.....there is a mustang that keeps taunting me and it's getting old.
