I searched for a new stalk with cruise, wiper delay, etc. and the parts stores want about $100. Rockauto has them for $40 and GMParts Direct charges $100. On Amazon they are still $20 so I bought a couple. They have the chrome ones and black ones. Was black the original color for the GN? How about for the TR's?

Chrome was original on GN's. I don't know about TR's.

The all black ones were for the Monte Slowcars SS.
Huh. My 87 T is black. Pretty sure it's original...

I thought all Buicks were chrome to match the tilt lever. I had a Monte SS

Only two types made; delay wipers with or w/o cruise. No one makes one for the oddballs like mine with standard 2spd wipers and cruise. Mine is all black also.

The turn signal stalk on my 87 TR is chrome, with the black plastic controls attached and is the multi-speed wiper controls with cruise control on it.
