I've never ran one but was looking into this turbo. From what I gather it was meant as a modern replacement for the TA49/TE44 with quicker spool using a stock converter. The only knock on it might be less pull on the big end compared to the 49 and 44. Hp ratings are also less I believe. Other than that it seems to be a great turbo. But like I said I never had one myself so maybe someone with firsthand knowledge can verify this.

I got mine to trap at 123 in a stock engine. It would do 120 plus all the time and spool up great. It is fine with a D5 and spooled instant with a 3200 Vigilanate. It was a blast on the street.

Uses Garrett GT center section and wheels and is very expensive to repair or update. Spoolup is very good with a 2200@0 restalled 12" converter
