This is just a short update, I will update further tomorrow.

I should have all of the donationations seperated and packaged by this evening. I originally wanted to have this done by Monday, but buring CD's has slowed me down considerably.

I will post the donation list and how I have seperated it(part for Landstuhl and part for Iraq/Afghanistan), so that those who have donated or helped with this effort may offer suggestions on the distribution. I will do this before sealing the packages.

We still need a combat unit to send to. I emailed a couple of guys who I was referred to by board members but never received any responses from them. I would prefer recommendations from the board but if that does not work out I will find someone on wednesday/thursday.

Ok, I found a platoon to send to. I located them on anysoldier.com. It is H&S company, 3rd platoon, US Marines. They are located in Afghanistan.

A further update:

The care package for Landstuhl is now in Germany. I flew back from the states last Saturday and simply packed the care package with me since my suitcases were light. That package was anything but light.

I will be contacting Brian Collins who is actually in the area of Ramstein (I'm a few hours north). Once we figure out the best way to get this sent, I will post back with further updates.
