Trans screwed up

Ight the other nite I was drivin down the road just put new trans line on it that go to the trans cooler in the radiator. And I got on it alitte and all it did when it tried to shift to second was slip and so basically all it has is park reverse and first. It wont shift out of first all it does is slip. I think its a stock 2004r that came in the car with a shift kit. I was thinkin if I gotta put a new trany in it what are the pros and cons of a TH350 or 400. What is cheaper and better to put in it. What is easier to put in it. Do these cars run better with a 2004r. thanks

I would stay with the 2004r, they may not be cheaper but they are the one to go with in my humble opinion.
