I might just get my dads 91 Roadmaster Wagon. He bought another car, and was gonna just junk this. Its needs a few things, mainly a new trans, but its not too bad.
My question is, I have a 73 Buick 455 with a TH400 just sitting around. (Actually still sittin in my wrecked Electra.
You see where Im headed dont you?
Any chance it will fit? Anyone done a big block into a b-body before?
This would make an awesome tow rig for my regal, and a good second car.
Any thoughts?
I already know the history behind both donor cars, what they need, how they run, etc.
Would make a great hauler, dont you think?

Sounds like a plan.
You will probably get more response about this swap over on the v8buick.com site

I've seen a few 455 Roadmaster swaps and its one of the easiest things IMO.Now I've never done a 91 and newer B-body but I did put a 455 in my 82 LeSabre Estate Wagon. The 77-96 B-body frame is the same more or less. You just have to custom make your mounts. Everything else is straight foward. You might be lost if you have never done this type of engine swapping before. I would say the V8 Buick borad is the best source of info.
