Street car: Bigger Intercooler vs. Alky kit

I find the stretch intercooler to become a problem when pulling up to a curb (the intercooler is mounted ahead of the front wheels, making the intercooler vulnerable).

A front mount intercooler might cause the TR to run hotter, however it doesn't have any "curb interference issues".

I like the ATR liquid intercooler.

See Razor's post. Alky does make sense.

I have FMIC in all my cars just for the reason you listed, i hate hitting something and trashing the shroud. If the shroud was made out of rubbermaid and cost 5.00 then it wouldnt be a major issue.

I put a ATR fmic on my daily, the air conditioning doesnt blow as cold, and the car does not overheat with the aluminum radiator, but the power is always there. I have 5 cars, each one has Julios kit on it and well worth it.

Erics chips and Julios alky kits, best thing out there.
