How many wires should come out of the bottom of the steering column and what should they do?

I know the one that is a PITA to fish in if you have attached a guide string, is the cruise control/delay wiper wire. Should there be any others??

Here's a couple of pics. from a 1986/7 column I bought used.

Wires come out the middle, nothing at the bottom.

Not sure what that white connector is for.

Thanx Salvage. I have read elsewhere what a pain it is to fish the wire for the cruise control/wiper delay and instructions say to disconnect the wire at the bottom of the column and attach a string so you can fish the new wire down, so I thought there was at least one wire at the bottom.

These pics help.

For me, it is that bad! I need to remove the F'n seat for every little thing I do under that damned dash!

My stomach hurts every time I think of doing electrical work under there.

my back hurts just thinking of crawling under there again to look at the damn fuse panel LOL
