Skipping 2nd gear

I took my WE4 to the dragstrip for the first time last night, the problem I am having is when I shift from 1st to 2nd I skip past 2nd to drive or overdrive. The shifter does not have any feel or detent for 2nd. Is it worn out or is this normal? Is there anything that can be done to the stock shifter to get a more positive 2nd gear shift?

Stock trans + converter?


I would say just leave it in D (not OD) and let it shift itsself. On most setup the car will be faster neways
