Shifting woes.

Maybe someone can help. If I leave my my car in drive and get into it a little, it has a hard time changing into second. If I shift manually, it snaps my neck like it should. Anybody know what this could be?

did you check the TV cable adjustment yet?

Have actually had bad weather lately so it hasn't left the garage. I will check it this week. I did change the fluid and filter before this started. Could this have gotten the TV cable out of whack?
