scanmaster 2.1 problem

I just got done installing my scanmaster 2.1 and I am having a configuration problem. When I kick the key over it says OBD 2 followed by L67 and than iut shuts off. It is plugged into port E on the ALDL. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like its not the correct chip for our cars! OBD2 is the 96 and up version of ALDL, and L67 is probably referring to the 96 and up SC'd Buick motors

Ya, I'd agree, sounds like you got ahold of a scanmaster for the chebby's, not the buick version.

Maybe call Full Throttle Speed and ask them ?? Dont know if its reprogrammable or no..
