rpm gauge

does anyone know what makes my rpm and tack gauge bounce on and off?

isnt an rpm and a tach (not tack) gauge the same thing or are you refering to the indash led tach and an aftermarket tach

faulty ignition module , try another

you may also need an amplifier for some tachometers to function
caspers tach module ..Specializing in automotive interconnect and wiring systems

sorry,i meant tach guage and boost guage bounce on and off during acceleration,they are stock digital guages, any ideas.

, casperselectronics.com can sell you a rebuilt tach/boost module (you send yours in or with a core fee send it in after you replace yours with theirs )

also make sure the green tach output connector behind the alternator isnt plugged into the black fuel prime connector ,

is there anything else that would cause these guages to bounce on and off during acceleration?

What does your scantool say the RPM is doing during this? Do you have a Scanmaster, OTC, PL, etc?
