I obtained these figures from the "Standard Catalog of American Cars 1976-1986".
I'll start from the beginning for you.
1979 S Type = 14,300 (Motor Trend's Car of the Year!)
1980 S Type = 7,217
Included in the above car count was the optional 350 (gas) V8 though the majority were V6 carb/turbo.
1981 T Type = 3,990 V6 turbo (although a 4.1 V6, 5.0 V8, and diesel were available).
1982 No T Type breakdown from regular Rivs
1983 T Type = 1,331
1984 T Type = 1,153
1985 T Type = 1,069
All of these figures are for Coupes. A handful of turbo convertibles (no more than 50 a year) were produced as well but they were not T Types. It probably sounds very confusing but Buick did some weird stuff with these cars during that time frame.
A cool fact about the early Rivs is that the chromed steel rim is the same design for the '86/87 GN but with a FWD offset.
