Ring Gear lightened

It looks cool just curious of any performance gains from this ? Also would it make the gear weaker because of the material removed ?

went from 9.5 to 8.2 lbs.
I plan to REM polish and MicroBlue coat.
Expect some gain but may be minimal,
They say minimal loss of structural rigidity.

Interesting and beautifull work . . . but in my opinion, unless I was racing for big $$$$$ and needed the extra 0.0001 second, it looks like snake oil.

Is this for a Buick?

Bad thing about these cool little tricks is having to take it a step further....Now you have to add aerospace brakes and gun drilled axles.

Strange Eng, Mark Williams and others offer the service, nothing new.

Forgot the spool!

yes for a GN

What an odd 'performance' mod.

That really seems drastic just to lose 1.3 pounds of unsprung weight.

Always wanted to try this. Take stock 10 bolt to level 11. Ordering a Ford 9" is the easy out. Ill admit failure, stay tuned.
