Proudly say what you do for a living!

I manage homeowner associations...you know the guy who send you letters telling you to cut your grass and move your trash can.....thats me.

I am the parts guy for the local Chevrolet dealer in the town where I have lived my entire life. I like my job, but I've been doing it since I was 17. Never thought I would be burned out at 29...

I also operate my own small business from home where I do appraisals on collector vehicles for various insurance companies, light repair, consulting, and detailing.

I also work one weekend a month for an auto parts store managed by a friend of mine. Money is good, but I don't really like it :(

Masonry. Mostly commercial. Family business, everything but the office, which I avoid at all costs. I'll take the bull work any day. I'm currently running a restoration project at a nuclear sub shipyard.

Full time student, using my brains to earn a 4.0 GPA and excel in classes way above my level.. Some may call me genius. But I am not. Took the test, and just barely missed. So who knows where I'll end up? I enjoy mainly the sciences so maybe a career as a doctor, physicist, etc. etc.

That's great ZNix, But what this board really needs is a on call psychiatrist.
I mean thank about it instant customers..........:biggrin:

Oh,and me I race cars, fondle women, but I do have weekends off and I am my own boss..........

Low voltage stuff here. Security systems, cctv, access control, audio, etc.. Right now I contract for the local phone company installing security for them. A friend and myself started our own company. Started off doing one job a month. Now we are doing 2+ a week, added to my 50 hours for the phone company and did I mention I work on Buicks on the side? Got 3 of them here plus my car.

Yeah, my wife hates all these cars lol

I got a Mechanical Engineering degree from Penn State and now I am a field engineer for a company that manufactures cutting tools (drills and such) for CNC machines. I cover the entire Northwest quarter of Texas! It's a little bit of driving for sure but I love being in the car (not the GN thankfully!). It's a pretty sweet job, I get to go into all kinds of machine shops huge and small and help guys get the most out of what they are doing, trying to save them time and money, pretty cool!! Been at it for about 2 years now since I graduated.

I am a Master Goldsmith with 40 years experience. Have been on the bench since the age of 17. I run two separate companies. All of which are just me alone. One website sells Automotive,Sport and Trade Jewelry and the other is for mainstream jewelry such as Custom Engagement Rings and Custom Wedding Bands etc. I was lucky enough to be blessed with skills that allowed me to make a living all these years. Love being creative and busy. It's like being a small scale Engineer, Bodyman and Sculptor, only playing with precious metals and stones instead of steel and glass. I know many of you have already seen my sites. But if you haven't yet, do me a favor and check out my Portfolio page or the WrenchHead site at least once.

I work for a company called Wheel Wizard and we are a mobile rim repair company. We service BMW, MB, Jag, Ferrari, Lambo, and many other high end dealerships. When I have time I help my fiance with her private jet charter company and her non profit emergency medical charter company.
Prior to working for Wheel Wizard I worked as a talent agent for a few agencies in Los Angeles.

This is great, not only interesting hearing about how everyone here makes a living in a million different ways, but its nice knowing the TR community is generally a bunch of hard-working good guys that take pride in their work!

Makes me wonder what the same thread would yield in a modded Civic hatchback forum...
