PowerLogger boost reading fluctuations

Just wondering how everyone's dealing with the variations in boost readings in PL. Looking at various logs posted, it seems that changes of 1psi or more are not unusual within 18 frames.

I'm not concerned so much about the fact that there are variations, but if boost goes from, say, 14.5 to 15.8 within one second of data, what do you call that - 14, 15, or 16? Or something else?

As always, thanks in advance.

Hard to say why it would vary that much. You might try various "smooting" settings to see if it helps. MAP sensor ground good?

Dave, not totally sure about the ground. Right now I'm just tapped off the green wire, not pulling in power from the TPS yet.

To clarify, it's not just in my logs (all 2 of them so far) that I've seen this. I've looked at about a dozen other logs here and at Full Throttle with the same fluctuations. I'm not saying it's a "fault" with PL, just want to know how people are using the data. I'll definitely try some of the smoothing options.
