Power Logger Installation?

When removing the coating on the ECM mother board. Do you simply remove the coating on the edge of the board, or do you remove the coating on both sides of the board. If that makes sense to anyone. Kinda hard to illustrate without pics I know.

i just removed the coaing with goo gone from the edge, not on both sides. is this right?

That "edge connector" has contacts on both sides, and go up about 3/4" or so

I learned a big lesson on this .Make sure both sides are very clean and even then clean it some more , I still am having some issues on my powerlogger but come spring I hope to have it figured out . Use some sand cloth to clean the connections after you remove the glue so yes both sides. Good luck

Might explain alot of my issues with it loosing connections in the middle of runs and basically not working about 98% of time. I thought cleaning both sides would cause damage for some reason, so i just cleaned the edge.
