I just had this picture scanned. It's from the Midwest Buick Challenge in Osceola, IN.

That’s not that bad off a track ive gone with my cousin up a couple of times with his 89 trans am gtgay with a 350 tune port his best was 14.3 i believe who’s been talking smack since i got my 87 hopefully i can get it going by the time they open up and shut him up. That very nice buy the way.:)

Sweeeeet.

I just read a new car article on the '83 - pretty cool. I post it when I get a chance.

You've got that car running well - 14.21 is very respectable.

How do I post a picture (jpeg) that is 125K big ? the limit I believe is 109K.

Yep, I had it on since for all of 2007. It helped with less knock. I'm running 20 psi with less alcohol. I picked up on the top end, but I haven't been able to build as much boost off the line. My 60' dropped by about 2 tenths.

I did have a run this year at 14.27 and 95 mph (the the rain came). If I can get the 60' back down, I'd hit the 13's. That will be the goal for this year. I don't plan on any more changes to the '83 T Type. I will be focusing on getting the '82 GN ready. Now that I have a diesel truck, I plan to get a trailer and the make the GN a dedicated race car.

(Sorry, I don't know about the picture)

Fred you can use a photobucket account and copy the img link here. That's want I've been doing.

The 83 is in the middle.

Hey scott, by some weird chance has you car ever been in a magazine? I remember a few years back I saw a pic nearly identical to the last one posted. Think it was in hotrod. Beautiful car by the way. I still hang on to the memory of my 79 SC limited that was 2 toned like yours. I found some pics of it but they are kinda crappy. Might take them over to my friends house and scan them and see how they turn out. I would love to share them.

What stall converter Rich ? My was a 3000.

I went from a 2500 to a 3000 soon after I put your turbo on. Still a little lazy building boost, but I haven't tried pushing it hard yet. Last year I was trying to be consistent, so I left with just 5 psi everytime.

It worked (the consistency part):

I'm in the middle

This year I'm just putting in new plugs & wires and seeing what I can do.

Congrat's !!!!!! , I use to be able to build 15# against the brakes (When they where set tight) with that turbo , it was stalling around 3200. Plus I had ported heads and a 206 cam and the 2.5" down-pipe.

Dang it..I need to get working on the 83..I can't have you more than .10 faster than me :p

Tell me how to post pics someone---PLEASE!!! Still gathering parts for my resto-mod 83. Got the bigger turbo, headers, 4.1 block and heads.

Here are my three:

This was a project that was for last two years really neglected. Started with one brother - rebuilt front end, and engine -, then taken over by me - used as a toy - and now my other brother - back to stocks. He started rewiring all or at least most of the old chewed up wires in engine the compartment and interior. We have completed most of the interior - upper door panels are blue but rest is original color. The car needs alot of work - paint, interior, etc - and eventually re-rebuild the engine, but with it being a family project it is becoming a fun build. A very slow one but a fun one.
