please help engine noise (video posted). 86 gn

I love this car so much and will do whatever it takes to make it solid again. please listen to the engine noise and tell me what you think it is. spun bearing?:frown::frown:

Shut it off and pull it out. I hear lower end noise for sure. That sucks
I think Chops1972 may be close to you. I dont know if he does side work but he is a tech and has a gn

Thank you Chops1972 for coming by and fixing my car.

It was only a seized water pump but it sounded like a spun bearing. tommy could have easily told my that my engine bearings were shot and I would have believed him because when my mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 spun a main bearing it made the same kind of noise. Tommy could have taken me for a full engine rebuild job that was not necessary. but he chose to do the honest thing and showed me where the noise was coming from.
we really need more mechanics like him around. He is now my gn mechanic for life.

I was going to suggest removing the belt and then running it see if the noise went away, but it sure sounded like a bottom end rattle on the video. Glad it was only the pump.
