Pick me a turbo!

Ok ,Here's my problem. Since my turbo got hungry and munched a chunk of the coupler that held the MAF tube on, I'm in need of something to replace it. I've spokn to two places already, and it seems that a rebuild may not be very cost effective. I klnow I'm going to need bigger injecters too when I upgrade, so that's a given. With the combo listed in my sig, What size do you recomend I look into getting? Thanks again.

TA-49; TA-60; or TE-44. I would also suggest you get 50# injectors.

TE60 and a set of 009s, will do a god job with your combo.

009s and a TE 44 would be enough for mid 11s. Probably find those injectors around the board cheap, maybe even the turbo too.

Alex - How is the spool of the TE-60 with the 2800 converter, Close to stock turbo/converter combo?

Also, How close is the TE-60 to a TE-44? Any advantages to either one?

Sleeper, spoolup is ok, it spools faster then my pt51 ever did with the same converter.
44 will defenetly spool faster with 2800 converter though.


Just whatever you do not go with pt51/52.

Got Turbo?

I have a TE-44 on order from Turbo Specialties. One year warranty. Could be delivered to you.

I decided to keep stock turbo and trade/sell the TE-44 and get the Trans plus set up or Propain kit first....Then go TE-44.
