Official Noah's Mad Max Gn complete engine build...

...wow that would have been a nightmare...thanks a million...so much going on blah blah...but just between me and you hehe...its fixed...thanks again...noah.

the engine is donnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...ok my last week of school i passed everything over 90% average for the year but the real grade was in my car project ...it runs and sounds real real mean...still need to do a major alignment...figure out my exhaust situation etc...

...any way here is some of the rest of the build sorry its been a long time coming but i have been on school time not mine...

...for the trans i remade all the lines to braided...added a deep dish one with sump relocated to prevent cavitation...i added an external trans cooler the one with its own fan and mounted under the front pass side as you can see...

...the oil lines are all new as well and run to an external oil cooler stuck on the front of the ac condenser...

...also added an fmic...looks good to me i will have to upgrade to dual fans now i suppose though...that will happen soon...

...so ok heres the thing i do have a few small things left to do...and my instructor rebuilt the trans and im not sure if it works yet i am hoping so as its been so long since driving at any rate that will get worked out...some new tires , rims , exhaust , some rear suspension stuff and i should be good for high 9's low 10's...just a matter of time my friends...

...i have left out lots of info on this build but please feel free to ask me as i have dedicated the last year of my life to this build and if there is something yoiu need to know i will gladly share what i know...thanks all for checking it out ...thank you all for all the excellent info that has helped me along the way ...and look out for me in the buick meets and races ...im sure you will all start to see me around ...the car might look a bit different as im building this one for armegeddon but it will still put fear into imports and tuners alike...thanks again ...noah.

wow looks good man. great to hear the update. good luck let us know how she runs and how the tranny issue goes.

actually i think its old school diesel farm tractor green but in your case just call it envy...hehe...but really i guess i just wanted something kind of light to see any oil leaks or problems easier...thanks noah.

ok trans update...a plug was left off the trans body so filled that its changing gears precisely...so all is good with this build....just have to re hook up my boost guage...hook up my dump pipe...and figure out what all the scanmaster numbers are and how to tune it accordingly...any info on that would help ...thanks again all and ill let you know how long it takes me to run tens low nines which shouldnt be long...hehe...noah.

dont get me wrong......Your ENGINE Looks Beautanimous and you spent alllll that time achieving "the Look" - why cut corners in the home stretch..? Take a lil' time and Detail the installation - IMHO the green wire loom is distracting when used "too much" [by the alternator it looks like a bag of worms exploded] and Now you can buy Black A/N fittings from Summit or any other parts warehouse.... also the Blue Silicone hoses are distracting from your "green with envy" theme. a lot of the wires and vacuum lines are routed in a way that they criss cross and go in front of "your work of art" - I would just make a few adjustments and not only will your car make people "green with envy" but look like the the show winner it CAN be. just my opinion take it for what its worth.

PS colored wire loom gets dirty fast and most if it isnt rated for high temps that are present under the hood of a turbocharged vehicle....ask me how i know.

well have another not so great trans update...had everything i needed done to drive it to my shop put the plate on and proceeded to go up the hill by my school ...its just about a block long...it starts revving incredibly high...at halfway up im not moving anymore but im at about 7k rpm...so i stop let it roll back down ...started to get barely any movement in drive , low or reverse...i try a couple more times because im now stuck in the middle of the street to turn it around but at that high rpm it is barely moving...i shut her down pushed it aside...let it sit ...then started again...check fluid ...level was ok...and now it moves more responsive again...so i try up the hill again....high rev is back ...not going to happen...so i leave it back at school ...everyone is gone...my instructor built the tranny so i hope it gets fixed there...

...also thanks for the constructive criticism...it does need to be cleaned up but damn it has a lot of wires, hoses etc....i was also on a harsh time constraint...meaning today was my last day of classes...ill do more at my shop if it gets there...hehe...sigh maybe it will be ready for next season...getting tired...thanks noah.
