OEM Intercooler Scoops

Several people have inquired about the pricing for the upcoming reproduction OEM intercooler scoops. The final pricing will be $449.95. Based upon our research, this part was last available in July 1994 with a retail GM Price of $429.95. With a compounded inflation rate of 4% annually, the price would be over $600 today. We will be selling these on ebay and fully expect prices to go well above $449.95. The last NOS piece went for over $800 on ebay a year ago.

They are made by the same company that made the original scoop for the car for PAS. John Pearcy, a list vendor, will have these available for purchase immediately upon completion. There will only be 100 of these scoops produced and we have already taken several vendor pre-sales. Also, it will not be a regularly stocked or produced item.

How do these compare to the originals. I happen to have an NOS one! Do they have the same screen, and rivits?

Do you have any pictures? A side by side picture comparison would be very interesting to prove authenticity.

They are exactly like the originals with the same screen and same rivets. We too have an NOS and the company still has the first one ever produced by them. We don't have any pictures of them because the mold is being made with a completion time of approximately end of Dec. At that point, we'll have a demo which will be compared to both an NOS production piece and the original first run piece owned by the production company.
