Gotta remember thou, this is for an EGR, and stock exhaust system so at light loads, there's too much timing for a none EGR application.

While you didn't ask, here's what I consider a good starting place for a TR, note, this is all for N/A mode ie 100 and less K/Pa. To get *real* numbers out of the entries, divide by 3 (actually x by 90/256)

Thanks Bruce, timing did not help. I am switching back to the stock iac and see if the car runs better. I just can't get the iac steps low enough on this one.

norbs, did you try closing the IAC down with an IAC tester. I have seen IACs in general hang up and the ECU thinks it is closed but it is not. I honestly did not test one on a Gen 7 and have no plans on doing so. I am not familiar with how they control the IAC. This IAC functions fine with a FAST system and as bruce stated functions with the stock setup. One would think that DFI is using similar IAC strategy as GM but who knows. It is simply a controlled vacuum leak. If I were you I would try blocking off the air to the IAC and see how the car idles. You might have another problem going on here.

For the lack of any other way to deal with it, if you want, send it to me, and I'll run it on my ecm bench to see if it's acting the way it should.

I have found out that i have a problem with the IAC hanging sometimes, were these iac's GM orginal in the kit or aftermarket replacements?
