Absolutely badassI opted for something a tad different. Hydro Dipping them in Carbon Fiber. I had not seen this done yet but I think it looks great. A local guy runs his own business and has a tank big enough to dip.
Thanks. This guy uses a thick clear coat and does 2 coats. It is far different than the DIY kits' clear.Very cool! I'm planning on hydrodipping my front air dams in carbon fiber. Hope it comes out as nice as yours did
Its allright for high jacking my tread when its for good idea's like that i am all for it!Thanks. This guy uses a thick clear coat and does 2 coats. It is far different than the DIY kits' clear.
I have thread in the Turbo Lounge on Hydrodipping. Didn't mean to hijack OP.

He charged $125 a piece for them! Buying a DYI kit I can hardly beat that price and then have to face logistics of how to dip something so large in heated water. (Hot tub anyone?) Not to mention if you make any mistakes and have to dip again. I had another dipping company here quote me $500 each. Those look incredible !!!
What did he charge to do them ?

I polished my headers and downpipe! And then put a high temp clear!Looks great! What did you coat the headers and down pipe with?
