Breathers on the vc
Hose connected thru the pcv port , no pcv, and then the pump.
The idea is to suck air thru the vc from the pcv.

I fooled around with an electric vacuum pump on a SBC drag car roughly 10 years ago and would describe my success as moderate. I was able to pull 1"-2" of vacuum on the engine at idle, but at full throttle the pump just wouldn't keep up. I spent a decent amount of effort sealing the engine up as best I could. You would be surprised on how many spots air can get in. I doubt 10" HG can be made using the electric pumps since at some point you will open up air leaks at the crank seals due to the seal lip orientation. All that being said, nice job with the fan motors and the newer style smog pumps and thanks for posting, you have some creative ideas! Also, are you seeing any oil carry over into your fan? I had issues keeping that separated and would get drips from the housing after a while, but my vacuum pump wasn't anywhere as good as your setup.
