Methanol injection with E85/E98 as fuel?

Interesting discussion today. What benefits, if any, do you see with injecting Methanol on top of E85 or E98 as a primary fuel? I'm a huge believer in Alky injection with Pump gas as your fuel, or even race gas. but is there enough of a benefit to justify having another mechanical system in the mix that can fail?

My stance was that yes, you will still see further reduction of intake temps, plus some more padding in octane and knock resistance.

blackmonte and i believe a couple others have gone this route. I forget who it is, but I think someone ditched their IC after spraying dual nozzels (one pre and one post turbo) on top of E85 with great success. Hopefully they will ring in. If i max out my IDC on my 120's I'm about 85% at 25 lb's) I will probably add alky. I'm hoping a fuel rail mod will reduce my IDC though.
