Mease/Houston DP question.

I'm running the stock DP/wastegate setup on my GN. I've got a 3" Mease DP on order. My question is: when you convert from the stock DP to the 3" DP without the elbow, do you have to re-adjust your boost level on the wastegate rod or does it retain its old setting? Don't want any big surprises when I take it for the first test run.
I know it's a small point, but I'd like to know what to expect when I finally get to bolt the new DP on the GN. TIA!

Should be the same, but if you are worried why don't you just adjust your boost lower? You can always turn it back up...

Depending upon quality of your exhaust system, the boost may be a little higher due to less back pressure.
