MAT sensor wiring question

The wires for my MAT (stock location=air box) were pulled out of the plug. It may not matter, but could someone tell me which side the ground goes in so I can get the sensor wired correct. I'd hate to smoke the sensor or ??.

works both ways. The two wires join at this little circle thingy, I guess it's some kind of resistor coil type arrangement that gets volts pumped to it and by the volts varying with temperature as resistance changes, the ecm somehow figures out temps. It only makes minor modifications to fueling anyway, so you're not missing much.
