I've got an older Limit Engineering TA61 and I'm trying to figure out what wheels are in it.

According to the gnttype chart it has a TO4B 69 trim turbine wheel?

Turbocharger Compressor Wheels

What's the word on this wheel?

I've got a .63 and a .85 exhuast housing for it too. Gonna try them both this summer, hopefully I've got enough stall(3200 pts 9x11).

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,Sean

Yep.. it's a TA6169

I have a PTE 6262 and spools great with the 9X11 3000 stall. So that 3200 will be plenty.

It could be one of 4 different wheels. 6131, 6157, 6169, or 6176.

which is most common?

I have no idea. The 6131 is a mismatch of wheels imo. I have two 6176 turbos. One with a Garrett .63 and one with a Precision .63. I made 501whp with the Garrett .63 one through a 9.5" PTC and heads with a bowl clean up and stock valves.

I have a Limit TA61 Stage 5 turbo. I emailed them to ask what size exhaust wheel is in the Stage 3 and Stage 5 versions and this was the reply...

> Stage 5 2.437 inch 76 trim
> Stage 3 2.228 inch 76 trim
>
>Chopper

So is one of those a clipped version of the other or are they different wheels?

Damn.

What kinda boost/timing got you those #s?

Nice.

Should be able to support that same power on E85.

Relatively low timing actually.

Can you post a pic of your 76 wheel so I can compare it to mine?

Next time i get the pipe off ill take a pic and post it. E85 will support more boost. Id leave the timing down and run 30psi. The turbo will still make more power.

Snapped a couple of pics of my turbine wheel while I was swapping the .85 housing on today.
