Got a few combos thinking why not guess the ET/HP. Would be kinda cool to see what people think and just to see if your thinking what I am.
Not sure about getting actual dyno numbers for awhile on all the setups but it might happen down the road and I will bring the thread back. We will take all the cars to the track in time.

I doubt you will be able to go all in unless you can get the base pressure up and the pump can keep up. SI heads out of the box leave a lot of exhaust flow on the table. 10.20-10.30 all in at 3600lbs. With a cleanup of the exhaust bowls high 9's all in and 3.23 gear or 29" slick. This is almost exactly what I had except I had alky/93, stock headers, TH exhaust, and precision front mount. I definitely had a little left on the table.

ET yes, HP maybe down the road in the first combo.

I have a few setups we will cover. The second one you will get ET as well and the 3rd both.

First setup is one we just finished with a goal of 10.80 around 22psi.

Second setup is just a whatever build and it's been running the same setup for years

3rd is a fast street car build.

With a good 60' it should be in the 10.0 range, you will need high fuel pressure. It will be interesting to see actual idc, i was never logging, but I know my 83s were all in. Mph should be in the mid to high 130s.

Yea ive been there. Does that mean the SE heads require custom headers or just the TA performance headers? I gather they also require the pedestal style TA rockers? Can both heads be used on a 3.8 valve size is the same

Both heads use the same headers. SE use pedestal rockers. Both will work on a stock bore 3.8
