I just wondering if it common to have a small knock sound when the engine is cold?
Once it's warmed up it's gone
The oil is new car runs great just wondering?
These are old cars anyhow

Depends where the knock sound is coming from. Could be the cam sensor by your discription.

By changing the cam sensor it should cure the knock sound?
