So just posting to see what you guys wear. For some reason like a phase in life i want to wear a nice watch. My hands are beat up and scruffed from either sports working on cars and or the usual fighting after school when i was younger. So i think rings and bracelets really wont look well on me. My old man never wore any jewelry ever. He would only wear this tactical watch that had many features. Not sure what i should get. I feel a nice watch like an (office piece) would be nice till i saw some prices made me feel pretty small. What do you guys wear if any at all? I currently have two newer sporty GShock watches. Im thinking about getting a nice watch for the office. If you guys have pics or want to share post up. I also dont own any jewelry or have any piercings at all. My old man woulda slapped it clean off me lol I do see my buddys with bracelets, watches, some have chains. Well let me know what you have.

I have a phone for time. I wear a wedding band I bought to replace the original I lost some time back. It is much less expensive so I don't worry about it. I work and get dirty so jewelry is a nono most of the time for me.
I did have a real nice tag heuer titanium watch but I lost it way back when too. If I had back half the stuff I lost I'd be set.

I say buy what you like and is comfortable for you.

I used to wear a catseye ring years ago. I stopped wearing it when I was looking for a short under a dash and found it the hard way. Still have a small scar because of that.:( I wear a beat up timex ironman and it gets replaced after it stops working, which is usually about 5 years or so. I have see what can happen when jewelry is worn in my profession so I don't wear anything other than the watch. I do have a nice looking watch that I wear on occasion but most of the time it sits in the dresser so I can find it when needed.;)

I used to like/wear jewelry when i was younger. Earring, different rings, necklaces, nice watches and matching bracelets. Man i thought i looked cool, white gold, silver to those sea shell and hemp get ups. Lol, oh man not anymore. Different times, different fads, but not i can stand to wear anything.
Only sometimes now will i put on a nice watch when going out to dinner or something of that sort. Of witch rarely happens anymore unless we can find a sitter. But man the stuff i used to wear.
I remember growing and my parents friends wore those turquoise rings with all that gaudy silver. Some of those same people today still wear those tight stone washed tapered jeans and Joe Dirt mullets. Lol

My wife and i collect and wear Casio G-Shocks... preferably the "Big Face" analog-digital versions... someday i would like one "nicer" watch maybe a Tag or Breitling or something.....oh and my wedding ring....

Do you want to show off? (Breitling, Rolex, Tag, and tons of others). More understated but Money? (maybe Rado or Patek Philippe, and tons of others)
I purchased a Bulova (not a huge name but still respected)- My rationale: My parents have a wall clock on their wall. It's Bulova. That clock was on my Great grandmother's wall- when my parents were children. It's been kicking around for 50+ years with no issues. I figured that was good enough for me.

I have about 5 Seiko Autos and a few Citizen Eco Drive's and a few Fossil's, I broke the bracelet on my favorite Seiko a few months ago at work and have been wearing a Citizen Titanium since then.
It is all personal preference on what you like and can afford. Dont worry about what others think...It is just like your car, do what YOU want !

I don't bother with jewlery.

I feel I do alright in this world, no sense in advertising it to folks with bad intentions...

Then again, that's just me.

Tim i like the A on that there watch.
Sometimes its a good business item. You look the part you talk the talk and boom you sold yourself to w.e business is on the table. You know grandmas old sayin of "dont judge a book by its cover" is true, but that damn first impression and look you give an audience means alot.

Timex expedition, analog and digital, leather band, I'm a millwright, and this one holds up on the job, and looks good enough on a night out, also have a diamond stud earring I traded a cousin for a gold hoop 15 years ago, he passed away at 26 years old and I told myself I'd wear it forever, I'm almost 40 now, and still wearing it 13 years later. My aunt still tears up when she sees it. They will probably bury me with it.

From the movie Remo Williams, the Adventure Begins:" Chiun: The trained mind does not need a watch. Watches are a confidence trick invented by the Swiss"
That being said my mind is not "trained". I wear a watch.

My "nice office watch"
Don't wear it much, as I'm rarely in a "nice office"

Bulova Accutron.

1969 version of the tuning fork watch in stainlsss, wear it everywhere in the summer.

Have a tiffany 14K gold version for the date nights, and a 18K gold Baume and Mercier chronograph for casino nights.

You don't get many comments from people at the $5 tables. :p

Then again at those tables I can't lose much so I can afford a decent watch. o_O
