99 Chevy 1500 with factory AM/FM/CD. Battery terminals were crossed in a botched jumpstart, and now the radio face reads LOC and the red security light blinks. Anyone have a clue? Still has power to the radio.

It needs the security code, it thinks it could have been stolen.

The code is typically set by the 1st owner of the vehicle, but I don't know if there is a default code, or anything like that...Hopefully someone else will come in here and have more info.

Dude, my bad. I neglected to tell you that using the link provided solved the radio issue. Thanks again.
