Is my Auburn Wore Out?

I've had an Auburn Pro positive traction rear end for about eight years now. In the past, changing the rear end fluid (Red Line Synthetic that includes limited slip additive) once a year would eliminate the jumping/jerky feel noticed when making sharp slow turns. Not this year, still feels jerky. Is this the sign of a wore out rear end. Not sure how to tell with a cone type design.

Thanks,
Richard

It s prolly cooked they are not rebuldable that i know of .they all break .go with an eaton

I would try some kind of additive.Usually when a cone style posi goes bad it will slip when getting on it.(one wheel spins and the other doesn't) not jerk when going around bends.Sounds like the cone isn't slipping enough around turns.

But if you do have to replace then go with a eaton.:)
