I step on the brakes.
Since it has been getting a little darker earlier in the eve. I have noticed my headlights going dim when stepping on the brake pedal.
This is during around town driving.
They do this as I step on pedal.

Once depressed staying at a red light they will OK or while driving.

Any Ideas? I am thinking bad ground But where? or bad switch.

How many volts are you seeing on the Scanmaster? Maybe your alt is not putting out enough volts? Did you put that extra ground on with the hotwire kit?

Big Al put the hotwire kit in awhile ago. I will have to check. I guess an added ground can always help.

It goes right from the negative terminal to the fender. It came in the kit.

Could be the powermaster pump draw affecting voltage levels and alternator regulator levels.

Watch the scanmaster volts when it happens.

Pretty normal actually if it's the pump draw at night in the cold.

If you have vacuum brakes I'd look into it more closely. :D

Good point, I didn't think about the Powermaster draw

Usually when I see that, it's a bad diode trio.
