changing a few things on my gn
did have percision turbo with 3-1/2 inlet side and all 3-1/2 mass air pipping
percision 3 inch intercooler pipping
and was using stock headers
had o clearence issies at all

just installed a turbonetics bb 61 turbo with 4 inch inlet then it stepes back down into my 3-1/2mass air plumging
and a set of gn1 headers
not it a cluster #^%$ lol
anyone know if gn1 headers sits the turbo up a little higher than stock headers?

also using a accufab 70 tb
and accufab plentum
any idea where i can get a billet 5/8 spacer?
i think this will fix most of problem im having
and can i run 5/8 spacer without messing up my hood liner?
its on my 20k mile gn hate to mess up hoodliner
i found this spacer in my tool box
its a half inch
but dam what a shitty design, stick it to plentum and its way to small
think that defeats the purpase using accufab, if you use this spacer huh?????

Yep, that's not unusual. Did they even bolt to the heads without drilling out the holes?

They are a decent set of headers but always seem to need some modification.

If you add a spacer to the plenum, the vacuum block it will contact the hood liner.

Personally, I would cut and lower the flange on the header.

Or get rid of em and buy a set of T/A Headers & be done . ;)
I've got a a 4" inlet on my turbo, with T/A Headers & a 4"x3.5" Reducer into a 3.5" MAF Pipe & have no issues. Previous Headers (Kenne Bell) fit fine too with no issues. An angled IAC adapter is advisable with a 4" inlet (IAC angle boss or champion have em).
My vacuum block does barely touch the hood, but it did this before as well, due to the HR Poly Transmission / Mounts.

the easiest way to tell if it's the headers is to put the other turbo in place. if it still interferes, it's he headers.

Keep in mind the 1" larger opening will move the top of the inlet up 1/2" even if it is in the right place.

thanks for the reply s
by looking at this 4 inch inlet turbo
it does look like it sets a litttle higher
but maybe its just the 4 inch inlet that makes it look like it sets higher
its already bolted up or i would bolt on the other percision and check it out
