gn tuners in southern california

does anyone know of any good mechanics in southern california to help tune my gn. the only people i know is grant burris from the tune up shop and lou but am not sure if he is still working on gn's.

any recommendations would be great.

Those guys are both great machanics. Lou's probably a bit more knowlageable on turbo Buicks. And yes, he's still working on them at his new shop. If your looking to power tune the beast, then Neal Stewerd may be your guy. What are you looking to get done?

well ive been having a problem with knock that is giving me a lot of trouble, i need to figure that out and would definitely want to power tune it. idle has been crappy think i need a chip with open loop idle(turbo tweak) im running the pitbull right now. where is Neal Stewerd located?

your knock problem is that pitbull chip get rid of it, is has way too much timing also make sure your downpipe is not hitting the frame, check for loose bolts on the torque convertor, u joints, fuel pressure make sure is at least 42 line off, make sure fp regulator is working (meaning going up as boost goes up), get an engine tie down strapp, check your trannie mounts, the list goes on and on but those are some of the most common problems with knock..
