genII or standard translator

i bought a genII, but now have been told that a regular translator is better. they said too much is not good makes for more problems any input would be great

Depends on the level of complexity that you want to get involved with. There's nothing wrong with the GENII and doesn't its self cause any problems. Usually just operator error of level of understanding.
The regular Translator only requires a couple simple switch settings and it's plug n play.
So the easiest way to go would be the regular translator.

Agree with Dave. GenII translator has much more tune ability but takes a gadget savvy individual to use it.

thanks fellas yeah i both a genII from a fellow member but i also have a regular translator. probably just gonna use regular one on my turbo T the the other on my gn. thanks everyone
