gen7 issues

allright all you dfi gurus.....i need help




i can't get my gen 7 tt sbc to rev over 55-5600.

with the blow thru it used to turn 8000 plus

gen 7
dualsync dist
weldon 2035
160 lb injectors


the truck gets to 5500 and noses over but dosent stutter or break up we tried timing and fuel ....all of the basic stuff but now im at the end



its not gear dependent

is this as simple as changing to staggerd batch?

I will try it tonight on my car. I hope the fueling table doesnt get thrown out to lunch! Just a few questions. Are you running out of duty cycle at high rpm? is it a mechancial problem? What else have you changed?

Sean,Isorry i didnt call back, Ijust got in from a turbo install on a 04 denali
Hey what was the a/f at that point?
Also just for ****s put new plugs in it.

Try logging your engine speed when this happens, make sure it's still clean when the thing tips over. It could be a problem with the distributor/crank input signal. It would also be useful to see MAP, Injector Pulse Width, and A/F ratio if you have a wideband available. Also make sure your fuel pressure is not going away.

otto did the new plugs and i can move the a/f anyplace iwant and it still does it




upon further inspection it acts like some kind of rev limiter

Are we sure the distributor is synched to the unit?
Both cam and crank signals?
If you are only using one signal fromn the cam i would think you cannot run sequential.
This is how hte FAST sytem works,You must have both signals to be seq.
And they have to be synched correctly also
