fuel supply question.

Im in the process of redoing my fuel system. I am doing 8an feed and 6an return. the fuel pump is an external holley double pumper.

Question is what psi to turn the second pump on at. should I just use an adjustable pressure switch so I can change the turn on point or just get a set psi hobbs switch and stick with it. what pressure?

I will be trying running e85 mostly but am running 93/alky now.

You might have better luck with a reply if you try the E85 section. I'm willing to bet the E85 gurus will give you the best answers.

I've used that forum a few times with fuel pump discussions. Lots of great results.

My second pump kicks on at 10#. Most hobbs switches are adjustable.

OK. Well I was just looking at racetronix site and they have anything from 2# up to 58#. That's why I ask. Thanks for the answer.

My second turns on at 7psi boost. I really can't remember why I picked a 7.
